Review – Stumbling into Grace

Book Review for “stumbling into grace” by Lisa Harper  (published by Thomas Nelson)

This is an easy read book – humorous and, of course, very well written, with in-depth usage of  bible passages.

I found the updating of God, Jesus and the Disciples, into modern day terms, a little irritating – don’t know why; I use visioning a good deal, when I’m reading my bible and to have to picture everyone in modern vehicles and homes, with occasional stops in hotels – a tad disconcerting.

Despite my personal dislikes – Lisa presents us with an entertaining and educational book, including self-assessment questions and journaling suggestions.

Worth the time it took to read – an easy-read book for academics or an excellent beginner read for ‘just getting to know God and Jesus’ people…..
